Who we are
Red Ribbon Bakers is a trading name of Fatemi Consultancy Ltd. Registered in England & Wales, company no. 10789818. We are a registered food business in Northolt, West London. Registered office: 9 Saltley House, Taywood Road, Northolt, UB5 6GX. Contact: hello@redribbonbakers.co.uk.
Bespoke orders
A bespoke order is confirmed once you accept our quote and pay any deposit requested.
Ordering from the shop
Sending a shop order is a request, not a purchase. There is no contract yet and you do not pay when you send it. We check we can bake it for your date and then confirm by email. Once we confirm, we send you a link to pay. Your order is booked when we have received your payment.
Your right to cancel
Normally you have 14 days to cancel an online order. That 14-day right does not apply to food that is perishable, or personalised (made to your order) (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013). Our cakes and treats are perishable and made to your order, so the 14-day cancellation right doesn’t apply. Instead, once you have paid: Cancel 72 hours or more before your date: we refund everything you’ve paid. Cancel less than 72 hours before: no refund, as your order is usually already being made. Posted orders
Some products can be posted. We post on our dispatch days. The dispatch date we show is an estimate, not a promise. A carrier may be late, and we cannot control that. The 14-day cancellation right still does not apply to perishable or personalised food (see "Your right to cancel"). If your parcel arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours of delivery and send photos. If it has not arrived 5 working days after dispatch, contact us and we will help. We cannot post to some areas, such as Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man and the Scottish islands; checkout tells you if we cannot post to your postcode.
Discount codes
You can use one discount code per order. A code takes money off the items only. It does not take money off delivery or postage. A code has no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money. We can withdraw or change a code at any time. A code only works between its start and end dates. If a code ends after you send a request, it still applies to that request.
Design
Handmade cakes vary slightly from inspiration photos. We will always discuss significant changes with you.
Reviews and photos
Customer reviews on our website are quoted word for word — we never edit them. Each one shows where it was originally posted, with a link to the original where there is one. Reviews sent to us privately (by WhatsApp, email or in person) are only published with the customer's agreement, and show only their first name and initial. Our gallery shows photos of cakes we have made; photos showing people are only used with their permission. If you would like your review or a photo removed, email us at the address under "Who we are" and we will remove it promptly.
